FROM Snowriver Mountain Resort >> It’s been snowing… a lot.
With over 6 feet of natural snowfall so far this season, conditions are stacking up at Snowriver Mountain Resort.
Pair that with recently lowered lodging rates, and now’s the time to plan a true U.P. winter escape. Our Extended Holidays Ski & Stay Package is offering some of the best values of the season. Through Snowriver and our lodging partners, a few prime units are still available, but they won’t last long.
Stay 2–5 nights, ski 2–5 days, and save big with lift tickets and rentals bundled into your trip. Snow days, quiet slopes, and a true U.P. winter escape are waiting. #snowriver #snowphotos #SkiMichigan ... See MoreSee Less

FROM Forbush Corner Cross-Country Skiing >> The Corner survived the rain and warmup, and it actually made our good trail base even better. An additional 4 inches of snow during the day yesterday didn’t hurt either. Albeit very windy and snowy weather, skiers were out and reporting that conditions were really good and not icy.
Full system groom today, including Pines Loop down into Hartwick Pines. Looks to be windy and a little snowy today, temperatures reaching the low 30’s. Open 9 to 5. FROM Anderson Bluffs & River Trails Foundation Inc. >> We had a full team of groomers out today grooming up most of the combination trails and all of the classics. The fresh 4 inches of snow really cleaned things up and made for excellent skiing.
There is another 1-3 inches of snow in the forecast so we will have the full crew out again tomorrow morning to reset track and Pisten Bully the combi’s. Skiing should be fantastic for the weekend.
