FROM Swiss Valley Ski & Snowboard Area >> Swiss Valley Operations will remain suspended through Friday March 13 due to continued unseasonably warm temperatures, rain, and winds.
Once this weather pattern passes, our team will evaluate the slope conditions. Please check back late Friday for an operational update.
If the crew gives us a thumbs up, expect a delayed start on Saturday March 14 to allow our Mountain Ops team time to prepare the slopes.
Unfortunately, we will reschedule Spring Fling activities originally set for Sunday.
Like many ski areas this time of year, we’re doing our best to sweet talk Mother Nature in letting us extend the season. We would love nothing more than to get our fans back on the snow for one last hoorah, we just need Mother Nature to agree.

FROM The Highlands >> ❄️❄️ POWDER ALERT: No joke, weather reports are predicting up to 8" through Friday and an additional 19" through Sunday. Mother nature gave us a whirlwind yesterday, but our mountain team is on top of it, working around the clock to get everything ready for an incredible weekend ahead. The base is still steady at 40" and winter temps are back! Do we need to say more? #thehighlands #SkiMichigan

It’s been an incredible winter on the Heritage Trail, with months of unparalleled cross-country skiing. This season would not have been possible without our dedicated volunteers who fought the cold, wind, and drifting snow to lay down tracks for us all. Not to mention the many downed trees they cleared!
Here’s a snapshot of the epic season they helped create:
