Crystal Mountain ~ World Snow Day Celebration ~ January 19, 2025

In celebration of World Snow Day, Crystal Mountain is offering a variety of activities geared to introduce "first timers" to the great world of snow.

12pm - 4pm: View a Snow Gun and Groomer up close! Located on the slopes behind the Crystal Center.

Crystal Mountain – Airsoft Biathlon – February 9, 2025
[ February 9, 2025 to February 10, 2025. ]
Join us as we combine airsoft and cross-country skiing into our Airsoft Biathlon! The ski trail will be a one-mile long loop with two target stations. Must be 8 years or older to participate.
Cost: $25 per person. Includes cross-country ski equipment rental and airsoft equipment.
Time: Start times will be staggered and available between 1-3pm in groups of [...]

John is working in his shop getting the old Jeep ready for grooming. We did sell the other Jeep. We are so fortunate to have John. John can fix anything. John is both Groomer and Mechanic. Do you all realize how much money he has saved us? Plus we don't have the down time of sending our equipment to shop. ⛷️ Cross Country Update:
Just a light dusting of snow overnight, but Groomer Dan is already out there working his magic—combing skate lanes on ALL trails including Blue, Brown, Yellow, Red, M-93, and Easy Return.
Tracks may be a few days old… but trust us, they’re still glorious. Wilderness is holding tracks too, so plenty of smooth, scenic miles await.
Don’t forget to stop into the Lodge for your daily or season trail pass before heading out!
🚴 Fat Bike Trail:
The Fat Bike loop is open and ready for adventure!
If you roll today, please remember to feed the Blue Donation Tube at the MTB trailhead — it keeps the good times spinning.
🚶 Trail Etiquette Reminder:
We love hikers, but please remember:
• Regular boot traffic should remain off the Mountain Bike Trail and Overlook Trail to protect groomed surfaces.
• Snowshoers are welcome, just please give bikers the right of way.
• Little Smokey, Pines, Guyton, and Oak Ridge Trails are open for hiking/snowshoeing !

We're back! Open 12/5-12/7 9AM-4PM. This weekend, we've added Superior, Jack's Cutoff, and the full Sugar Hills Learning Area (including conveyor). These additions provide more options for beginners and intermediate skiers alike and create smoother routes across the front side. We also expect Alpenglow to open this weekend, timing pending grooming and prep. We will open it as soon as it's ready!
