FROM Forbush Corner Cross-Country Skiing >> We received about 6 inches of dense system snow and some more lake effect snow over night. The new snow should groom up really well and make for some great skiing this week. We did receive some ice before the storm which created some leaning trees that will need to be removed and will slow down the grooming. The plan is to do the east side trails and pines loop. Time permitting we will also do the west side. It will take some time to get the grooming completed. FROM Mount Bohemia >> Great news !!! With 14 inches of new wet heavy packing snow in the past 24 hours Bohemia will be opening everything in the yellow for Tuesday dec 30. Opening for the first time this season will be Middle Earth, Outer limits , Far East, Haunted Valley and Outback sections .This will give Bohemia over 450 acres of open skiable terrain . Lake effect is expected off and on all week . As always ski with caution and expect the unexpected.. #mountbohemia #SkiMichiganGreat news !!!
