Crystal Mountain – Midwest NASTAR Pacesetting Trials – December 19, 2016


Crystal Mountain is proud to host the U.S. Ski Team / NASTAR Pacesetting Trials with former Olympic and World Cup ski racer, Daron Rahlves, as the regional NASTAR pacesetter.

Crystal Mountain will provide resort pacesetters a complimentary open-to-close lift ticket and race entry. Pacesetters earn three certified handicaps: GS Coat Handicap, GS Race Suit Handicap, and Slalom Handicap.

Spectators are welcome! It’s your chance to watch great skiing as top skiers from resorts throughout the Midwest set a blistering pace down the Cheers slope in preparation for the 2016/17 NASTAR racing season.

Cheers will be closed to the public from 9am-4:30pm on Monday, December 19, 2016.

Boyne Mountain – 15th Annual Adgate Trophy, GS Ski Race – February 1, 2020


The Adgate Trophy race is hosted by Boyne’s Ambassador of skiing, former Olympian, US National Champion, and 2009 US Ski Hall of Fame inductee Cary Adgate.

The Adgate Trophy has historically attracted top talent from around the state and beyond. The course will be set on North Boyne.

There will be divisions for men and women as well as age categories. The winners in the open divisions for men and women will have their names etched on the Adgate Trophy.

Boyne Mountain – 15th Annual Everett Kircher Cup, Slalom Race – February 2, 2020


Named after the founder of Boyne, Everett Kircher, this slalom race will take place on the hill that started it all in Northern Michigan, Hemlock.

Still regarded as the premier race hill in Northern Michigan, Hemlock always provides plenty of challenge for top racers from all over the state and beyond.

There will be divisions for men and women as well as age categories. The winners in the open divisions for men and women will have their names etched on the Kircher Cup.

Caberfae Peaks – Jim Wickham Memorial Race – February 29, 2020

Saturday, February 29, 2020: Jim Wickham Memorial Race

  • 1 pm start, register at the ticket office from 9 am to 12 pm
  • Awards banquet following the race
  • Slalom on Liberty – Open to all
  • $14 per racer for the Wickham, or $20 to add the Gold Cup
  • Age divisions: 0-10, 11-14, 15-17, 18-35, 36-46, 47-57, 58 and up

SPRING RACE SERIES:

Sunday, March 1, 2020:  Earl Huckle Memorial Race

  • 1 pm start, register in Beatie’s Bar & Grill from from 9 am to 12 pm
  • Giant Slalom on Liberty & Olympia – Open to all
  • $5 for kids and $10 for adults
  • 100% of the proceeds, other than entry fees, go towards the Cadillac Ski Club
  • Age divisions: 0-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+

Saturday & Sunday, March 7 & 8, 2020:  WinAlpine JDT Race

  • Junior Development Teams from other ski resorts are on site to compete
  • Slalom Race on March 7
  • Giant Slalom & Super G Race on March 8

Sunday, March 15, 2020: Caberfae Peaks Gold Cup Super G 

  • Register at the ticket office from 9 am to 12 pm
  • Race is at 1 pm on South Peak
  • Awards banquet following the race
  • Super Giant Slalom on GGs Ride – Open to all
  • $14 per racer, or $20 for both the Wickham and the Gold Cup
  • Age divisions: 8-10, 11-13, 14-16, 17-32, 33-45, 46-59, 60+
  • Overall Male & Female Winners
