Wildernest is a premier chalet located in the Village of Indianhead Mountain.
The chalet has two units which are surrounded by wooded lots with walking and snowmobile trails. Indianhead Ski Hill is about a block away with Blackjack and Big Powderhorn Mountain only 5-10 minutes away. Wildernest I, with it’s open floor plan can accommodate 10 guests. Wildernest II, is a cozy, yet roomy lower unit with full views of the surrounding wooded area and can accomodate 6 people. Both units have their own private jacuzzi tub and fireplace.

Peterson’s Cottages is located in a quiet, wooded setting on the sandy shores of magnificent Lake Superior, just 15 minutes from the world-class Porcupine Mountain Wilderness State Park, and offers fully-equipped housekeeping cottages for the discriminating traveler.
Each lodging unit is fully equipped with a kitchen, color cable TV, phones, 1 and 2 bedrooms, fireplaces in most cottages and bath tubs with showers.
All cottages have automatic gas heat plus carpeting and paneling for a comfortable atmosphere, including all bed linens, bath and kitchen towels. Kitchens are equipped with refrigerators, ranges, microwaves, dishes, cookware, utensils, toasters, coffee makers.
Beach towels and beach chairs available for our guests.
All cottages are air conditioned and have wireless internet access. Coin-operated laundry available for guests
Snowmobile from your cottage to the excellent trails of the Western U.P., and/or experience the Alpine and Nordic ski areas of the Porkies – a winter wonderland awaits.

Our resort’s beach is the ideal spot for swimming and agate hunting. We have motel rooms and cottages. Our townhouse style cottages feature a full-size bed or a queen-size sofa sleeper on the first floor in the living area, and one room upstairs with a full-size bed and some units have a set of bunkbeds.
