Day 31. Pow laps with the kids.

I had to sit between them on the chair because apparently 48 hours in hotel rooms is too much.

Delayed open but like 20"+ of blizzard fresh #lakeeffectsnow it was a short afternoon and still quite blustery but definitely made up for yesterday's shutdown.

Day 30. "Sometimes it do be like that" edition. Tons of snow but almost zero visibility and a relentless uphill wind.

I snuck a handful of laps while the kids lazed about (probably for the better tbh) and by the time they were ready to roll, the resort shut down. Waffles as a consolation prize.

I guess there was also lightning in the vicinity because why not have lightning in a blizzard, too?

Currently waiting out this storm.

Finally made it up to boynehighlands in Harbor Springs today. Such a beautiful area right next to Little Traverse Bay on Lake Michigan. Their chairlifts with heated seats and bubble enclosure had us singing The Girl in the Bubble from Wicked🩷💚😂 Great spot, looking forward to going back sometime!
