FROM Forbush Corner Cross-Country Skiing >> We received about 6 inches of dense system snow and some more lake effect snow over night. The new snow should groom up really well and make for some great skiing this week. We did receive some ice before the storm which created some leaning trees that will need to be removed and will slow down the grooming. The plan is to do the east side trails and pines loop. Time permitting we will also do the west side. It will take some time to get the grooming completed. Nordic Pulse is currently not working. #forbush #crosscountry #snowphotos #SkiMichiganWe received about 6 inches of dense system snow and some more lake effect snow over night. FROM Vasa Trail Ski Conditions >> At 11:30, groomers were laying corduroy and classic tracks in Timber Ridge. They’d tracked Riley’s to Supply Rd, they’re working clockwise back to Bartlett. At 11:30, they hadn’t yet tracked wall/rock/ jack pine areas
Lovely classic tracks, very soft skate lane. #vasa #crosscountry #snowphotos #SkiMichigan ... See MoreSee Less

FROM Marquette Mountain >> ❄️ Storm Update & Mountain Operations
To our local community: we know Monday’s storm was a heavy one, and many of you across the county and U.P. are still dealing with power outages.
🏠 A Place to Warm Up If you are currently without power or heat, please know our doors are open. We have power, heat, wifi, and plenty of hot food available for anyone who needs a warm place to wait while the crews work to restore the grid.
🚠 Mountain Operations For those heading to the slopes, here is what you need to know for today:
Lifts Open: 10:00 AM. Snowfield chair could be slightly delayed as we are finding a few issues caused by the wind. It will be spinning as soon as possible.
Conditions: Our team groomed throughout the night to provide a solid base, but we’ve intentionally left powder stashes hidden all around the mountain for you to find!
Staffing: Please pack your patience today. Due to the storm, power issues, flight delays, and travel issues, we are operating on a skeleton crew. Our team is working incredibly hard to get you on the snow, but things may move a little slower than usual.
Stay safe, stay warm, and we’ll see you on the mountain! ⛷️🏂 #marquettemountain #SkiMichigan ... See MoreSee Less
