FROM Friends of Valley Spur >> Saturday the 28th and no need to groom. A smidge of snow has fallen at best. Since posting snow is falling pretty good, which will make tracks and skate lanes good. FROM Forbush Corner Cross-Country Skiing >> Well, that was a warm one today. However cold temps are returning and normal winter conditions will be returning the next few days. Some melting yesterday but trails are in great shape. Pines loop and east side trails will get the fresh groom for skate and classic. All trails are tracked. Open at 9. Gates close at 5. 🎿 Nordic Trail Update:
🏡 Lodge and Trails open at 9:00 AM
Groomer Dan will be out this morning cleaning up skate lanes on Red, Yellow, Brown, Blue, M-93, and Easy Return. Great conditions to get out and enjoy the trails.
🚲 Fat Bike Trail: Groomer Mark made a late night pass on the trail system and reports that trails should be riding great this morning!
🔥 Snowshoe Poker Run — 11:00 AM
Sign up in the lodge and hit the trail! Visit stations along the way to collect your cards and finish at our Overlook Bonfire.
Awesome prizes, fresh air, and a little friendly competition — what more do you need?

Shortly after grooming was complete snow began. Get out early for the best conditions before this afternoon's warm up.
