FROM Marquette Mountain >> ☀️ Bluebird Sunday is Here! Time to Spring Forward & Send It! 🏔️
Did you remember to set your clocks ahead? ⏰ We might have lost an hour of sleep to Daylight Saving Time, but the rain has officially cleared out, the sun is shining, and we are ready to make up for yesterday with an absolutely EPIC day on the mountain!
Thanks to the time change, we've got even more afternoon daylight to soak up those spring skiing and après vibes. Here is your lineup for today’s massive mega-schedule:
🏂 Today's Schedule of Events:
🕘 9:00 AM - The Hornbogen Memorial Race: The coolest race in the Midwest kicks off with the Downhill! We've packed all the weekend's race events into today, so the energy is going to be electric.
🎿 All Day - World Telemark Day MeetUp: Calling all free-heelers! Come enjoy a sunny day of camaraderie on the slopes. Drop the knee, and if you're feeling adventurous, jump into the Hornbogen!
⛺ All Day - Compound Demo Day: Head over to the base of Snowfield to test out some fresh new gear from 9 AM-3 PM.
🕚 11:00 AM - Outdoor Bar & Grill: The grill fires up and the drinks start pouring outside the Tbar. Grab some lunch and soak up those extra rays of sunshine! 🍻🍔
🕒 3:00 PM - Live Music: Noah Bauer takes the stage to keep the après-ski energy high all afternoon. 🎸

FROM Norway Mountain >> Your backyard might be looking a little muddy right now… but our backyard still looks like a winter playground! ❄️⛷️
We’ve still got plenty of snow stacked up on the mountain, and the conditions are holding strong. The groomers have been working hard and the hill is ready for some great turns today.
🎿 Open 9AM – 4PM
Grab your gear, call your friends, and come get those laps in while the snow is still prime!

FROM Friends of Valley Spur >> Sunday the 8th of March and there is small amount of new snow that has fallen on yesterday's groom. Get out early to enjoy the trails. Reminder the Volunteer Appreciation Party and the Mini Taste and Glide is going on today. $10 for non volunteers for all you can eat. FROM Cross Country Ski Headquarters >> The Michigan Cup Relay Race is ON!!! It’s a beautiful sunny day and our snow moving team worked some real magic last night and the race course is looking 🔥!!! The race starts at 11am followed by a party with food and drinks on the sun deck. FROM Mt. McSauba >> Rain has moved out of the area and it feels like winter again this morning! ❄️⛷️❄️ The ski hill is being freshly groomed and we will be open today from 12:00-4:00! All main runs will be open(not including glade skiing) and should provide a great Sunday at the hill. We will continue with our normal hours of operation for now and will be providing details about Winterfest activities in the next few days! #mtmcsauba #snowphotos #SkiMichigan
