We landed early on a Friday and hit the road north with my sister behind the wheel ๐๐ First stop: Uncle Johnโs Cider Mill in St. Johns for cider + donuts (a must). Then off to East Lansing for the MSU Homecoming Parade ๐๐ค
Saturday morning we made our way to the cutest town of Harbor Springs, then cruised M-119 through the Tunnel of Trees โ pure postcard perfection. ๐ฒ
Our weekend base was Boyne Mountain, where we rode the ski lift up to SkyBridge โ breathtaking fall colors in every direction. Sunday took us to Charlevoix + Traverse City for shopping and dinner at Poppycocks (10/10, recommend). The drive back? Letโs just sayโฆ a deer made it memorable. ๐ซฃ
Next morning, we crossed the Mackinac Bridge, climbed Castle Rock, waved to Paul Bunyan like old friends, and wrapped up through East Lansing + Ann Arbor before heading home to Tampa on a Monday. ๐
A perfect Midwest mix of family time, fall color chasing, and cozy vibes โ made even better sharing it with my sisters, my friend, and our littles getting their first real taste of fall. ๐๐งก

I picked these up at my local Boyne Country Sports location. The QST 94 caught my eye after learning they are new to the 2026 collection! These skis also combine my favorite parts about my others, like power in turns, responsiveness even in rough conditions, and overall a ski suited great for the Midwest!
